About
Hello there and Welcome!
I am a watercolor painter with a passion for color. Working in watercolor, I push my color palette just past reality to achieve results that are vivid, eye-catching, and uniquely my own. I am inspired by the fluid, transparent, and delicate nature of clear pigment on paper that is distinctively watercolor. The transparency of the medium allows me to isolate the striking intensity found in shifting light, deep shadows, and water reflections. I believe that beauty matters — that nature inherently holds a healing, grounding force. In my paintings of flora, fauna, and everyday objects, I intentionally take a closer look, bringing quiet, small details to the forefront and offering viewers a space for tranquility and reflection.
Painting is my way of highlighting and sharing a fascination with the everyday things people might walk by and not even notice.
